Brussels sprouts might not be every child’s favorite veggie, but they’re packed with nutrients and can actually be delicious—especially when covered in cheesy goodness!

While sprouts have a bit of a reputation for making you gassy (as Magnolia in the story found out when she nibble some, farted and landed in the christmas tree), please remind your child that it's simply your tummy saying 'thank you for the lovely healthy food'.

You see Brussels sprouts contain raffinose, a special sugar that feeds your good gut bacteria making them strong - which is essential for a healthy gut and immune system.

Brussels sprouts are also an amazing source of fibre, vitamins C and K, and antioxidants. And guess what? In my taste tests overall through the years over 60% actually liked them, and that was without the cheese, so it’s worth giving them a try!

Why Brussels Sprouts Are Great for Kids:

Full of vitamins – Helps boost immunity and keep bones strong.

High in fibre – Supports digestion (yes, that means they can cause a little gas!).

Feeds gut bacteria - making the immune system strong.

Tasty when cooked right – Roasting or adding cheese makes a huge difference.

Kid-approved! – You'll be surprised, many kids enjoyed them.
